  13. Well when I saw the title of this post I was intrigued. I am a woman of 71 inches and although you say that being short is a disadvantage, being tall can also be a pain. I remember being refused a stewardess job because I was too tall. I think tall women are not considered feminine by most males, although my husband at 5′ 7″ does not agree.

  17. If only this were true. While it might work in adolescence, before the ends of the long bones fuse, there is no way to lengthen the long bones once the growth plates (epiphyses) have fused. The only way to lengthen the bones then is to physiclaly break the bone, connect an internal fixator either side of the break, and slowly separate the two parts at the rate of around 1mm per day so that as the fracture mends ths tisue being laid down is slowly lengthened. A painful, tedious and slow procedure. If you increase growth hormone after the bone growth plates have fused (from late adolescence onwards) then bones can only thicken and you would end up with changes like those seen in acromegaly.

I have never been one to ever think about this, I did not really think it was possible as I grew up thinking that once I hit 18-19 then that would be it, so learning about there is perhaps a possibility I could grow that little bit more sounds very interesting, it would also mean my diet is better as I have terrible eating habits, I am far too much of a sweet tooth so switching may be good for me especially when I am playing football.

    I stand at around 5’4 and play, if there is an opportunity to grow I would not mind trying it, it means it would put me in a better position, but is not a necessity as I am comfortable but this interests me as it would mean healthier eating and lifestyle while getting a chance to grow, interesting article!

      Like you, the majority of people do not think there is any possibility whatsoever to grow any taller after they’ve hit 18-19.

  21. Like seriously, how many inches taller can one get with this ebook. I was told our bones stop growing at a certain age. If this is true, I am gonna try it out so I can gain extra height, because I am 5.6 ft at the moment and I am 31 years old. How long does it take for someone to begin to see noticeable result?

      Your results with this program will of course be completely dependent upon how rigorously you follow it’s guidelines.

      At your age (31) my guess (no guarantee here) would be that you can add up to 2-3 inches in about 10-12 weeks. If you keep at it for about 6 months (180 days), you can in my opinion add up to 3.5 inches. By then you’d reached your maximum potential. A client of mine gained 2 inches in 10 weeks following the step-by-step plan outlined in the manual. He did the specific set of exercises each and every day (for about 20 minutes).

      These height gains are definitive and permanent (lifelong).

  24. When you refer to growing taller after taking or following the method mentioned by Darwin Smith, how much taller and isn’t there a limit for growth? I believe whoever practice the 3 key points, namely proper nutrition and diet; a good night sleep and good posture and lastly exercise will have an overall improvement of health and well being and not just the height alone. When one has a good posture, with the spine straight and keep maintaining it this way will be appear taller. As we grow older or age, we will tend to shrink a little bit. But with what Darwin Smith suggest, the process will be slowed down or minimized. Please don’t get me wrong to conclude that this program is a scam. It is worth considering and buying the ebook as against many others. I will rate it as 4.5 stars.

    I stumbled across this page somehow. This product seems very interesting to me as I am not quite a shorty, nor exactly Andre the giant either. I failed by just one and a half inches to make my dream job of being a policeman.

    What is the average height that can be gained in say 6 months or one year using the methods?

    Also does this involve any Nazi style stretching torture machines? I hope not!

    I am about average height, but would like to grow taller.
    I enjoyed reading about the 3 key elements to achieve height gain. May have to try these. But i am not desperate to be taller so may not work as like you wrote – may be tedious to follow.
    I think this is a great site for someone who is small and is making them unhappy because of it.

      There are a lot of people out there, who for very different reasons want to grow taller: Some want additional height due to a specific profession they are persuing (for instance military and police height requirements, modelling, etc). Others are looking to increase their self confidence and improve their self image.

      Many guys believe that being taller equals looking better and more appealing. Additionally, they are convinced that increased height is going to make them appear far more authoritative.

      For most of these people, their desire to add more height remains just an unobtainable dream, because they don’t even know that it’s actually possible.

      On the contrary, it’s definitely possible to gain height – even if you’re in you’re an adult.

      The majority of people firmly believe that gaining as much as a millimeter in height after their early 20’s is totally impossible, and that the only solution would be to undergo a so called ‘Leg Lengthening Surgery’…

      Not true at all!

      Most people are lead to believe that they are unable to get any taller after the age of 20 – that it’s simply impossible.

      Well, this is true if they don’t do anything about their height, and how can they do anything proactive when it comes to their height if they don’t have a clue that it’s even possible?

      As a general rule, guys don’t get any taller after the age of around 19, and girls don’t increase in height after they are about 17.

      These numbers are general and do not necessarily indicate that growing taller after this age is unobtainable. I simply means that the overall individual is unable to increase their height if they don’t do anything to promote further growth.

      The GrowTaller4Idiots (yes, it’s kind of an awkward and somewhat disparaging title) program consists of a step-by-step program that lays a clear path for exactly what you need to be doing in order to increase your height, even though you’ve stopped growing naturally.

  28. So this book is for people who are still growing right? Not people they are way past the growing age. If so, I agree with what’s briefly mentioned in the article. I think the best way to grow tall when you are still growing is to eat well, sleep well, and exercise. I promote this and apply this method to my boy as well and he’s been growing exceptionally well and taller than his average peers. I made a mistake of not sleeping and smoking when I was at a young age and I think that stunted my growth. I’ve been about the same height since I was 16.

  29. I sure wish I had known about your secret to grower taller when I was a teenager, if I was about 3 to 4 inches taller I might have made it to play pro basketball. I had the shooting skills, but lacked the height. I could not even make it on my high school basketball team even though I could shoot better then many of the players, if you not a certain height you will not even get a second look.

    I am interested what age groups is this product for, I am kind of hesitant it would work from someone all grown up and the only growing they are doing is wider? I hope you can answer this question, I think it will help many people decide if this product is for them.

      Yes, height is naturally a requirement when it comes to pro basketball, though there are shorter players out there with technical and tactical skills that by far make up for their lack of height.

      Maybe you just never met the right coach who understood what you were really capable of…

      You know, when it comes to our bodies capability to growing taller, there are some widespread misunderstandings floating around out there…

      One of these are that your bones are incapable of growing any longer after your growth stage has ended.

      It’s a fact that the main growth stage stops around the age of 18-21 for boys and 16-18 for girls.
